This is one of the most popular procedures at Clarit\u00e9. The common fear is of looking fake, or having “trout mouth” or “duck lips”. When done correctly, very natural looking lips can be achieved. There are many types of fillers and manufacturers, each with its own qualities. Some give a soft, full plumpness but are not good for lip definition. Some give definition but not volume, and some are good for volume.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
As with injecting fillers in any region, there may be swelling, bruising, bumps and even tissue necrosis. At Clarit\u00e9 only a physician will provide the injections and we have solutions to dissolve the filler in the event of an adverse reaction.<\/p>\r\n
As you can see from the photos below, each client had different concerns.\u00a0 \u00a0At times, if there is significant loss of volume such as with the client shown below on the far right, several procedures spaced months apart provided a beautiful end effect in this case.
